Counselling in St Albans, Hertfordshire
Welcome to my website and I hope that you will find the information you are looking for.
Life can present us with challenges and at times we need support to get through them, or we are looking for ways to help with our own personal growth. I am an accredited counsellor offering counselling using a broad range of skills (see my About Jill page). I also use and teach the Enneagram, a unique personality analysis tool which provides a sound basis for personal growth. Counselling and Enneagram work can be combined or used separately. My Enneagram and Enneagram training pages offer more detail.
Counselling and therapy
I have a wealth of experience working with people with many different issues. My Counselling page gives more information about what kinds of problems I can help with and I have a special interest in people suffering from bereavement and loss. My aim is to create an open and supportive environment in which individuals can feel comfortable talking about most everything — including the counselling process itself. When we meet we can think about how I can be helpful to you, and I draw from a range of approaches to provide the most useful way for you and when we meet we can talk together about what would be the most helpful. You may wish to come for a few sessions, or make a more long-term commitment.
Ever wondered why you ‘always’ react the way you do in certain circumstances or with certain people? Do you sometimes look back on a day and wonder if there was a different way to handle things? The Enneagram is a system of personality analysis that can help with relationships at work, at home or just in everyday life and can give you valuable clues about how to experiment with doing things differently.
I can offer
- a one-off Enneagram interview to help you determine your Enneagram personality type
- consulting and coaching for individuals and organisations
- use of the Enneagram within a counselling context
- workshops which teach the Enneagram from beginners to those who require more advance study locally and across the UK
